PUZZLE HUNT IS OVER!!

Puzzle Hunt '08 has been won by IAGFJ, who retreived the final item, a small lamb shaped fridge magnet, at approximately 1:40pm on Sunday 13th April. In doing so they reversed the effects of the genetically modified steak, and saved Australia from apocalyptic doom (at least for another year!).

This was a fantastic effect by IAGFJ, coming from a lowly 10th place on points to snatch the item just minutes before plugh was able to.

Congratulation to all those who took part! This year's Puzzlehunt was one of the closest we've ever had, and many teams were in with a chance of winning going into the weekend. We hope to see you all back next year! The teams which came 2nd and 3rd will be notified by e-mail.

The solutions to all the puzzles have been uploaded to the website. For those who still wish to solve themselves, the answer checker is still working, but no more points will be awarded.

And for those who are keen for more puzzles, the members of CISRA Puzzlers (who came top on points) run their own puzzle hunt, which is taking place the week begining April 28. We encourage you to check it out!

Until next year...

'High Steaks'

Puzzle Hunt is back! But what is happening to Australia?

Why are extra stars appearing on our flag? What is making everyone take up baseball? Why is Kevin Rudd claiming his middle initial is 'W'? Can everyone seriously have just 'had a dream' about their 'four little children'?

Find out on April 7. Registration for the hunt is now open!
