Mathematics & Statistics Alumni

Welcome to the alumni web page, for Mathematics & Statistics graduates. This site along with its bi-annual newsletter, aims to encourage the development of valuable professional and personal networks by fostering alumni.

Membership of the Department's alumni is automatic for students graduating with Honours in Mathematics or Statistics as part of a Bachelor of Science or completing Postgraduate studies in Mathematics or Statistics.

Newsletter

As an Alumni member, you will now have received your December edition of 'Alumni and Friends' Newsletter either by mail or email.

If you have not already received the newsletter, and would like to be included on our mailing list, email us at alumni@ms.unimelb.edu.au. Please attach a completed graduate information form to support your email, which can be accessed here.

Sponsorship

Please contact our Finance Manager, Yolanda Harbison if you are interested in supporting the school's teaching and research efforts through sponsorships of stipends, prizes, scholarships, etc.

Graduate Surveys

For several years now we have run a biennial graduate survey to gather information for our careers web site at www.ms.unimelb.edu.au/~mscareer/profiles.html.

If you haven't received a graduate survey, but would like to help the department by providing a short summary of your career, please email us, attaching the graduate survey.

You may also like to volunteer some time to give a short talk to students about your career path at one of our career fairs or events.

We love to hear new ideas and find out what activities our alumni graduates would like to be involved in, so please feel free to offer us your suggestions for Maths & Stats alumni activities or services.
