Analysis & Set Theory
Analysis provides the theoretical back ground of "Calculus" -- the study of functions, their limits, their integrals, and their derivatives. Set theory studies the natural questions that arise in counting the infinite and foundational questions regarding the nature of functions and the real numbers.
