Constant term identities for Laurent polynomials

Abstract: We present a simple method based on multivariate Lagrange interpolation that is powerful enough to transform a large class of constant term identities into combinatorial problems. This allows us, among others, to give a very short proof to Andrews' q-Dyson conjecture, to obtain the q-analogue of Aomoto's identity and to prove a long standing conjecture of Forrester related to the Calogero-Sutherland model with internal degrees of freedom.
