Aspects of matrix integrals

Abstract: Matrix integrals over classical groups occur in problems in directed percolation. These will be reviewed, some new methods of
evaluating some matrix integrals given, and use of some tableaux bijections explained. Selberg correlation integrals generalize certain
matrix integrals. These integrals can be used to solve a certain system of Fuchsian differential equations. The Wronskian for this system
can be calculated explicitly, as can its monodromy. The latter gives information on the structure of the solutions of the differential equation, and of the differential operator itself.
