by John Carlin

Institution: Murdoch Children's Research Institute and the University of Melbourne
Date: Thu 10th May 2007
Time: 12:00 PM
Location: Room 213, Richard Berry Building

Abstract: The talk will provide an overview of the method of multiple imputation, which is being used increasingly in the analysis of large datasets in
epidemiology. I will discuss recent advances in implementation and
understanding of the method along with current research on unresolved issues relating to when the method is likely to give reliable results
that improve substantially on simpler approaches.
