Abstract: We will present a theorem of Su Gao that gives equivalent
conditions for a Scott sentence to have an uncountable model. This
relates to the Automorphism Group of the model, as well as the Elementary Embeddings from the model to itself.
Some familiarity with the Scott analysis would be helpful, but we will present the basic theorems.
