Abstract: We will start going through 'How Algebraic Bethe Ansatz works for Integrable model' by Faddeev. We first introduce the XXX quantum spin chain and show that, by a procedure similar to the algebraic solution of the quantum mechanical 1d harmonic oscillator, we arrive at a set of Bethe ansatz equations for the system.
