I am a lecturer in Pure Mathematics at the University of Melbourne, in Australia.

My research is in arithmetic algebraic geometry, an area at the intersection of number theory and algebraic geometry. I am also interested in computational aspects of number theory, algebraic geometry, representation theory, and other algebraic topics.

Teaching

First semester 2011: MAST10005 Calculus 1, MAST30021 Complex analysis (first half)

Second semester 2011: MAST20026 Real analysis with applications

First semester 2012: MAST10007 Linear algebra, MAST90023 Algebraic topology

Second semester 2012: MAST10005 Calculus 1

Free and open source software

I am an avid user of open source software. I try to contribute as often as I can, mostly to the mathematical software Sage.
