Title:

The difference between algebra and analysis

in physics and mathematics

Abstract:

The difference between analysis and algebra is often confused in the educational process. I will sort out the differences and explain why it is that physicists almost exclusively use algebra while physics problems involving analysis have been given away to the applied mathematicians and material scientists.
