Title:	Character varieties, fields, and spectograms of 3-manifolds
Abstract:	The talk will describe and demonstrate some numerical methods for computing various algebraic invariants of 3-manifolds, such as A-polynomials, shape fields and SU(2)-character varieties. The Fast Fourier Transform plays a key role in these methods.
