Assessment
There are three components to the assessment in this subject.
- One three hour exam in the exam period at the end of semester. Previous exams are included in the free Example Sheet booklet given out in lectures.
- One 45 minute mid-semester test in your 620-161 lecture . A sample mid-semester test is included in the free Example Sheet booklet given out in lectures.
- Homework corrected by your tutor. See the "Homework" page for further details.
Your final mark will be whichever is the greater of the following:
- T + E + H
- E(90/75) + H
where:
- T is your mid-semester test mark (15%).
- E is your exam mark (75%).
- H is your homework mark (10%). See the "Homework" page for further details.
Date of mid semester test: Monday, April 16, at your regular lecture time at Wilson Hall.
There are no supplementary tests for the mid semester test. If you cannot take it, your final mark will be determined by the second expression.
