Organization:
There will be three one-hour lectures per week, two of these will be regular lectures, and one a practice class dedicated to problem solving. There will also be a weekly tutorial (time and location will be discussed in the first lecture).
Assignments:
There will be weekly assignments which will count for 10% of the overall mark.
Examination:
The result of a three hour examination in June will count for 90% of the total mark.
Reference material:
The main reference material will be the Lecture Notes. See copy of references and bibliography below.

First Class:
The first class will be held on 3:15PM, Tuesday, March 3, 1997 in Theatre A, Richard Berry Building. Try to attend this class, as a number of important organisational matters will be discussed and decided upon.

The exam has been scheduled for 9:30AM to 12:30PM on FRIDAY June 13, 1997 in Theatre A and Theatre B, Richard Berry Building. Reading time will commence at 9:15AM.
If you have other exam(s) on Friday, you can take the supplementary exam scheduled for 9:30AM to 12:30PM on WEDNESDAY June 18, 1997 in Theatre B, Richard Berry building. Reading time will commence at 9:15AM.
If you have clashes on both days, you should contact me immediately to arrange an alternative date for you exam.
