Inside the University of Melbourne

History of Mathematics

• The MacTutor History of Mathematics archive is a wonderful source of information about famous (and infamous) mathematicians and also the development of mathematics throughout the ages.
• Cornell University Library's Historical Math Monographs is an extensive digital archive of significant mathematical monographs.

Mathematics Competitions

• This listing of Mathematics Competitions from around the world has information and papers from competitions in over 30 countries including various olympiad competitions and the Putnam Competition. A number of these are competitions at undergraduate level.
• The SUMS Problem Competition is an undergraduate competition run by the Sydney University Mathematics Society. In the past, many students from the University of Melboune have entered this competition.

Women in mathematics

• Women in Mathematics is a group of women mathematicians at the University of Maryland (College Park) who have a variety of resources for women in mathematics, (and also computer science, physics, and engineering).
