The first item I ever knit, and also the reason for learning in the first place. After crocheting my rainbow scarf, I wanted gloves to match. Much searching bore no fruit (why does nowhere in Melbourne sell rainbow gloves?), and so I decided to make my own. Taught myself how to knit, wrote a pattern (with a couple of false starts) and made these.
