Overview

I am a Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne, working with Arun Ram and Craig Westerland. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Southern California in August, 2011, under the supervision of Eric Friedlander.

Research

Generally speaking I am interested in algebra, and more specifically in representation theory. The work below mostly deals with representations of finite and algebraic groups in characteristic p, as well as that of quantum groups.

Publications:

  • Module invariants and blocks of finite group schemes, Bull. Lond. Math. Soc. 45(1) (2013), pp. 213-224. PDF
  • Support varieties for Frobenius kernels of classical groups, J. Pure and Appl. Algebra, 216 (2012), pp. 2657-2664. PDF
  • On exponentiation and infinitesimal one-parameter subgroups of reductive groups, J. Algebra 385 (2013), pp. 14-26. PDF
  • Exponentiation of commuting nilpotent varieties, (to appear in J. Pure and Appl. Algebra). PDF

Preprints and Work In Progress:

  • Springer isomorphisms in characteristic p, (submitted). PDF
  • Fock Space and representations of quantum groups (with M. Lanini and A. Ram), in progress.
