Assessment
The assessment in this subject will be based on
- a three-hour written examination at the end of the semester,
- five assignments to be done during the semester
- MATLAB exercises to be done during computer laboratories.
Your final mark will be
0.80E + 0.15 A + 0.05 M,
where E is your exam mark, A is your assignment mark and M is the mark for your MATLAB exercises (each out of 100).
Late assignments and missed Matlab exercises will not be counted unless this is due to illness or other good reason. In this event you must bring a copy of your medical certificate, or other evidence, to your lecturer as soon as possible. Your final mark will be adjusted to reflect your special consideration.
Any student who has not handed in a PLAGIARISM SHEET at the start of semester will be awarded ZERO marks for their assignments.
