TutorialsEach week students are expected to attend a tutorial. Past experience has shown that students who attend all classes and work steadily throughout semester are much more likely to pass Mathematics B. The tutorials emphasise group effort in problem solving. Each week students will receive a tutorial sheet and divide into groups to work out the problems on white/blackboards. At the end of the tutorial a full set of worked solutions to each problem will be given to students. Tutorials will start in the 2nd week of semester. For your tutorial allocation please refer to your personal timetable, obtained using Alloc8 (see https://sis.unimelb.edu.au/cgi-bin/scitt.pl). If you need help with timetable changes staff will be available to help you as follows: 1. From 26th February to 14th March see 2. From 17th March, please see Susan Wilson in Room G46 in the Richard Berry Building about any Mathematics and Statistics tutorial changes. |
