These pages have been designed to support the topics discussed in the lectures. Visiting these pages is not a replacement for attending lectures. The lecture slides stored on the lecture slides page are (virtually) the same as those used in lectures, but the lecturer will supplement them with quite a lot of extra material which does not appear here.

It will be greatly appreciated if you could communicate to the lecturer your comments on these pages as well as on any other aspect of the subject. Needless to say, constructive critical suggestions are particularly welcome.
