Insurance
The Conference Organisers recommend that all delegates purchase travel insurance, including cover for non-refundable registration fees.
Ground transfers
Cairns International and Domestic Airport is located only 10 minutes (7km) from the centre of Cairns.
Car rental
Within the terminal there are agents for Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Red Spot and Thrifty. Car hire costs are highly variable, but range upward from approximately $46.00 per day plus fees and taxes.
Taxi
Black & White Taxi ranks are located immediately outside the International and Domestic Terminals. The taxi fare to Cairns CBD ranges from $15 - $20 depending on destination point.
Coach/Shuttle services
Although many hotels provide there own coach/shuttle, Australia Coach/Sun Palm Express operates airport shuttle bus services to hotels, city centre, and other tourist sites. For timetables and online bookings visit www.australiacoach.com.
Bus services
For transport around the city, Sun Bus services are available daily. For further information and timetables visit www.sunbus.com.au.
Car parking
Undercover car parking is available at the Cairns Convention Centre, along with disability access into and around the venue.
